Drawing a Camera
Step 1:
Start by drawing a rectangle with curved edges in the middle of your paper. It forms the camera’s body container. The shape of a camera consists mainly of straight lines, so you may need to use a rule when drawing a camera.
Make sure the camera will be drawn in the center, creating reference lines and drawing a horizontal and vertical line believed in its role. These lines serve as a guideline to help you determine where you position your drawing.
Step 2:
Draw a perfect circle in the middle inside the rectangle we draw in the previous step. It forms the camera lens.
If you can’t keep a perfect circle, don’t worry! You can always use a compass, a drawing tool that helps to draw a circle shape perfectly and easily.
Step 3:
In the form of the circle we draw earlier, we draw a smaller circle. Make sure there is a small space between the two forms of a circle, as indicated in the illustration. After completing this step, the camera goal should now be completed.
Step 4:
Draw the upper half with a trapeze shape in the middle of the camera’s body. It creates a camera flash. The goal of a camera flash is to illuminate a dark landscape, usually at night. However, it can also be used to capture objects that move at high speed or modify the quality of light.
Step 5:
Draw the upper half with a rectangular shape at the camera’s top. Make sure this shape will be drawn on the left of the flash we designed in the previous step. It creates the camera shutter, which the user will click to capture an image or shoot a video.
Step 6:
Repeat the previous step on the opposite side of the flash to create the mode display. Then draw several short vertical shapes in the figure to add the dial details.
Step 7:
Draw an elongated side oval shape inside the flash, which we previously designed in the fourth step.
Step 8:
Draw a small rectangular shape in the upper right corner of the camera’s body. After completing this step, the essentials of the camera must be completed. All that is missing is the drawing of the camera’s body.
Step 9:
Draw a horizontal line at the top and bottom of the camera body. It adds an aesthetic drawing to the appearance of the camera.
